With every year that passes; time seems to go quicker, crime increases, peace is diminishing, and the price of a human life seems to be worthless! The future is less inviting with wars, wokeness, the high cost of living, tax hikes, and the price paid for freedom of speech.
The world is becoming a living hell; with child grooming, rapes, murders, and corruption. Celebrities we have known and loved, have been found out to be sexual preditors in one way or another. The transgender issue, in my opinion, and as a Christian, has blown out of all proportion. Children can no longer be children because of the pressures that come with gender ideology. Education has taken a back seat to gender ideology. Schools seem more interested in becoming parents to pupils, instead of 'teachers'. The way it's going, children will not only lack an education when leaving school, they'll leave confused as to whether they are a boy or girl!
Wokeness is the new regime, it seems. You can no longer express yourself if you are not part of that regime. Yet we, how should I put this, the 'normal' ones are being bombarded with wokeness. It's becoming a new 'culture' and one that 'we' are to adhere to.
Thoughts of what God must be thinking often run through my mind. But then I remember what Jesus said, "...All these things are the beginning of birth pains." He went on to say, "...many will turn away from the faith and betray and hate each other." "...Because of the increase in wickedness, the love of most will grow cold." Whilst this predicts a horrible outlook, His words are so comforting. It doesn't matter what happens on earth, by man's evil hand; Jesus promises that He will not forsake us. I find it so comforting that Jesus forewarns us, even before the horrors are to happen.
